Join me for PoppyPink, a performance commemorating the one-year memorial of October 7th

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I will present the PoppyPink performance in Central Park on Sunday, October 27, at noon.

For those interested, there will be an 11:30 AM meeting point at 5th Ave and 102nd St (Girl’s Gate) to guide you to the performance location.

Comfortable shoes are recommended.
The nearest public restroom is located at the back entrance of the City Museum, at the corner of 5th Ave and 104th St.
Pink attire is suggested as a sign of solidarity.

The PoppyPink dress will be on view in the Jewish Museum lobby during museum hours on October 24-25, with free admission.

PoppyPink is a minimalist performance piece set in Central Park, New York, commemorating the one-year memorial of October 7th. The work aims to raise awareness of the Israeli hostage crisis and advocate for human rights.

“Feeling the pain deeply in my body, I had to create an art piece that involved my physical presence. In the PoppyPink performance, as my beautiful pink knitted dress unravels, the trauma of the lives of the Israeli hostages is revealed, and the thread of hope left behind is to find them and bring them home.”

Lilac Madar

As the dress unravels, hope unfolds.
