Shalom Friends and Supporters, I hope this day brings good news and that you’re safe and well, wherever you may be.

These are, undoubtedly, “interesting times.”
I made it back to Tel Aviv just in time, right before flights were cancelled, after a road trip to Nashville, TN. There, I had the chance to see Nudie Cohn’s legendary designs up close. They deeply inspired me, as you can see in my new work.

Going in and out of the bomb shelter, I find comfort in returning to my handmade collage practice; it brings a bit of peace to this hectic situation. This new series is based on a stack of wedding photos I found at an estate sale in Newton, MA. Wishing us all small moments of calm, wherever we may find them.

PoppyPink was on the road, driving from Cleveland to Boston, I stumbled upon a gem: the Butler Institute of American Art. I couldn’t believe this hidden treasure, home to one of the best collections of American art I’ve ever seen.

Of course, I also visited my favorite: MASS MoCA. In a beautifully cosmic moment, I ran into Shaina Bilow, one of PoppyPink’s performance supporters from the fabulous knitting community, who designed the flowers worn at the event in Central Park, NY. That’s bashert!
