Ten years ago, I gave an interview to Yuval Saar at Portfolio magazine. Now, in a “back to the future” follow-up interview, I reflect on the path that has brought me from being the publisher of the visionary Forno Magazine into performance art, and how these shifts continue to shape the way I think and create. I wonder what the next decade holds.

They say desperate times call for desperate measures. I’m not desperate, but I did have a lot of time to think while sitting in the shelter, with no shows, studio visits, sales, or traveling. That led to a new idea: Tuesday Drops.

I know buying art online is its own kind of adventure, so this one is for those who know ;)

Whether it’s an Iranian artist, a Lebanese, or an Israeli artist, war weighs heavily on the creative soul. This is where my soul is at, on my studio table, still in progress.
